Then send this bottle with your child to timeout and they can watch it settle to calm them. Once the glitter is settled their time is up! wow this is such a good idea! if they mess with the bottle their time out time is longer.

    (Hot water will help glitter glue to mix) Let that dissipate, add bottle of clear gel tacky glue. Dry inside of cap, and rim of bottle.
    Calm-down & time-out bottles: Fill a bottle full of water. Add one bottle of glitter glue & ultra fine glitter. Send this bottle with your child to timeout – to watch it settle and calm him/her. Once the glitter has settled, time-out is up!
    3 Oct 2011 Filed Under glitter bottle, glitter calm down bottle, glitter time out bottle, glitter I followed your instructions and my glitter won’t settle. yarn (I doubled the yarn so I could tie it tight without it breaking) tied around the rim.
    Fill the bottle about 3/4 of the way with hot water, then add a bottle of glitter glue and a small tube of glitter. Screw on the cap and play with the mixture until it takes about five minutes (our standard time out time!) for the glitter to settle at the bottom of the bottle.
